My initiation in art took place in the silence of my workshop and deepened in the contact with painters, engravers and ceramists.

Just as I’m interested in the dialogue between drawing and painting and collage, I’m also intrigued by the autonomy of engraving and ceramics.

My work took shape through the elective affinities with artists and works which inspire me and help me to find my path.

The details of a photograph, objects found by chance – dry flowers, shells, stones, twigs – can trigger a painting, which will later open space for the challenge of new medias.

The starting point may be an image, an emotion, the reflection of light in the window, a piece of music, a poem…

With the maturing of the work came the necessity of dialogue with the public through my participation in exhibitions.

As a result, I’ve taken part in solo and collective exhibitions both in Brazil and abroad.
